Description |
First we carry out DNA Profiling, then DNA is compared it against about the breeds in our database. The result will be an assignment probability to each breed in our database.
An assignment probability of 80% and above to a particular breed means that it is highly likely that the dog is a purebred of this breed.
An assignment probability of between 40% and 60% to a particular breed means that it is highly likely that one parent of the dog is a purebred of this breed, or the two parents are first generation half-breed cross of this breed.
An assignment probability of less than 30% to a particular breed, means that it is highly probable that this dog is neither a purebred dog nor a half-breed of this breed.
